true vs magnetic on ios

hello

on my windows computer qtlvm (with nmea data) displays and navigates to magnetic compass headings. 

on my iphone qtlvlm (with the same nmea data sources) displays and navigates to true compass headings. 

i would prefer to see magnetic compass numbers on the iphone also, but i have not been able to find a setting to change this. 

is there a way to select between true and magnetic compass readings on ios and/or on windows?

Certainly. You need to go to Boat->Settings and in the last tab you can choose between true or magnetic mode.
