Marks Management / Archives was created by JorgenVeslov
Good afternoon,
  • During the last 15 Years sailing between Scilly Islands  and Stockholm + countries/Channel Islands in between, I have collected 2,000+ waypoints.
  • In the past used various Applications (InavX, Navionics etc.) and as a rule, NV Charts as hard copy charts.
  • QTvlm is my future 3 x app  with master installation on MacOS, iPadOS and IOS (iPhone).

Marks Management
  1. I have an estimated 300 Archive Titles used by NV Charts - see example:   eu.nvcharts.com/9953/nv-charts-england-uk3-the-solent/
  2. Districts Maps and Detailed Maps titles refers.
  3. I have created a number of Archive Titles for testing (MacOS only).
Requirement
  1. Is it possible to create Archives titles on MacOS app/files, then
  2. Export the data
  3. Import data to iPadOS and IOS installations, then
  4. Import Archive header details only
  5. Individual POI/Marks/Beacons will be imported later using "Import GPX".
Edit file option
  1. If import is not possible,  could I edit using A Text editor of the file containing the Archieve headers?
  2. Files: poiArchives.dat, poiReal.dat refers
Manual update
  1. Only option for each installation apply.
Thank you for your update.

Jorgen

Hi,
This can be done on one machine and then exported via menu->qtVlm->export qtVlm data, which you can then reimport on another machine or device. You can for instance export/import POIs archives and current POIs, routes, tracks, etc.
I don't understand what you mean by "Headers only"
Regards,
Philippe
