Installation

Hi,

I have tried to install qtVlm version 5.12.1 on different Windows machines (Windows 10 and Windows 11), but the installation always stops with a reference to the file dll_ver.txt and a dialog with Chinese symbols (see attachment).

Any help would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

This is issue has been already reported. We can’t find suitable explanation for it so it is still open.

What can cause this:
- slow internet connexion
- firewall / protection on network on your computer or on the network
- antivirus / malware


Do you think you can be on one of these cases ? Are all the machine on the same network?

Same problem here. Same difference is that the error alert box is totally blank.

Network is not really slow (ADSL)
This is my Work PC, with a lot of restrictions and firewall stuff, but I can normally install whatever I want.
