Start Line Mode not active

Doing the first test before using the program in windward/leeward regatas, I was looking forward for help in 2 topics:

1-couldn't activate the
-start line mode
In the boats menu. Neither with the PC nor with the iOS (free version) after marking the 2 POI as the start line marks

2-in the pre-start stage of the regata how is the windward mark position inserted in the program to have the VMC info and the layline time and distance to mark?

Hi Pedro,
Start line mode on iOS is available only with complete version.
On PC, NMEA acquisition must be started in order to enter Start Line Mode. If you are not connected to any GPS signal you can always use the Simulation Mode (load a grib, boat->simulation).
Layline can also be displayed, plus a safety area and many other information. Please refer to the documentation page 71 for more info.
